The RPMs for 7.3 assume you have the Sun JDK version 1.4.0 installed in

/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.0

Is that what you have?

        Hi all,

I'm now running Swarm in a RedHat 7.3 box; following Paul Johnson's instruction and his rpm files (thanks, Paul) things go quite well and Objective C applications run without problems.

The problems are about Java applications. (A premise: I've to use Sun sdk, to link Swing classes, for an application of mine).

        Running jheatbugs I obtain:

address@hidden jheatbugs-2001-03-28]$ java StartHeatbugs
(Tcl -eval:) syntax error in expression " $tcl_version >= 8.0 "
    while executing
"if { $tcl_version >= 8.0 } {
...
(a lot of similar lines follows)

It seems to me that we had a message fixing a similar problem on this list, but I've not been able to find it.

        Pietro
