There are some peculiarities with the Suse distribution. Unless
you find an RPM explicitly made for Suse, I suspect your best
bet is to build it from scratch.  in the mailing list archive,
search for a nice set of notes by Nigel Gilbert about issues in
suse 6.2. If you build it, post notes on how you do it, so I can
update this FAQ entry

People have asked about Suse 7 and I dont recall that anybody
made an rpm for it.
