This should be fixed if you upgrade to the current DLLs:
ftp://ftp.swarm.org/pub/swarm/binaries/w32/latest
Grab the javaswarm.dll.gz (for Sun JDK) and the libkaffeswarm.dll.gz
(for Kaffe), gunzip them, and put them in /Swarm-2.1.1/bin. Also grab
the swarm.jar.gz and put it in /Swarm-2.1.1/share/swarm. Finally (I
guess you've done this already), edit
/Swarm-2.1.1/bin/{jdkswarm,jdkcswarm} to look for "1.3" instead of "1.2".
It will be obvious what to do when you load these two files in to your editor..
