Compiling Help

I'm trying to compile Swarm 2.1.1, and I've run into a problem. I'm
working on an iBook with Yellow Dog Linux. I run configure and then make
without any special parameters, and after several minutes through the make
process, I get this error:

_fcall:63: warning: implicit declaration of function `av_double'

av_double appears to be declared in avcall/avcall.h, with a whole bunch of
compiler conditionals to choose different macros depending on the
processor architecture. As far as I can see, it doesn't contain anything
mentioning PowerPCs.

Now the strange part, I have Swarm 2.1.1 working fine on a PowerCenter Pro
also running Yellow Dog Linux, and I'm fairly sure I'm doing the same
thing to compile it. The only difference between the two is the type of
computer and the amount of memory and hard drive space. OS and
software-wise, the two should be nearly identical.

Any ideas? I greatly appreciate any help you might give me.
