I'm teaching myself to program Swarm models in Java and have
begun by rewriting the Simplebug tutorial programs in Java.
I'm having a devil of a time, however, matching the Java
reference documentation for Swarm with the syntax of the
actual use of classes and methods in my code. The problem
is not the OOP stuff, but rather what needs to be in the
include statements and how particular methods in the various
classes are properly referred to.
I've looked at the jheatbugs and jmarket code and found them
useful, but not entirely so. I'm clearly missing something
fundamental in the way Swarm classes and methods are
organized. I'm wondering if there are some good Java code
examples out there that would help. Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Charles
