I don't know of anyone who has found a way to compile swarm apps under
win95 except for the Cygnus win32 package. What other objective-C compiler
is there? Not Microsoft!. On NT, I have tried to compile a swarm
app under the OPEN NT package and it didn't work, after an afternoon
I decided not to buy open NT.

If you look back in the list archives for Swarm-support, you will see that
many people are using emacs that has been ported to windows. Glen Ropella
announced that, as I recall. Its not an IDE in the same "tidy" sense as
some windows products, but many people like it. The debugging software
works cooperatively with emacs. I never got used to all those strange
keystrokes in emacs, so if I
were using win95,
I would consider using a nice free text editor called PFE (programmer's
file editor) and compile stuff manually. It works OK.

Sorry I don't have more help. I got too many lockups and problems doing
swarm under win95 so I just stayed in Linux (the one true faith!).
