I believe there is a company, Tenon?, that ported GCC/ObjC to the Mac;
they supposedly even got an earlier version of gnustep-base to work. The
new Rhapsody is based upon NeXT technology and that is the GNU compiler
(though a heavily modified one). What would be good to check is if Swarm
works with the NeXT runtime because then the whole powerful development
environment becomes available; I've been meaning to try this but haven't
found the time, as usual! ;-)
