swarm app compile problem

Subject: Compile of swarm test app failed

I compiled the swarm libraries and have tried to compile on of the apps
to test the libraries, but they fail with the following error:

The System is a SPARC 20 running SUNOS 4.1.4 with all of the required software. 
Can anyone
point me in the right direction.
