Hi,
I am interested to work in the project wget version 2 for GSoC 2018. I am
writing this email because, I am not sure what are the procedures and
schedules which needs to be followed.
My question is,
1. Should I start preparing the proposal for the respective project now or,
to wait till the proposal acceptance date starts?
2. To whom and in what file format should I submit my proposal?
3. And is there any other mandatory things to be followed additionally?
Note:
The appropriate answer or any other url links with necessary info will be
helpful.
Thank you,
Sri Madhan.

Hi Sri Madhan,
This is a generic list for coordinating the GSoC Program for GNU.
Please direct your questions for specific projects on their own communication
platforms.
In your case, the GNU GSoC Ideas page links to
"https://gitlab.com/darnir/wget2/wikis/wget-gsoc " for Wget2.
You should take a look at the information available there and
proceed accordingly.
P.S.: You can always start working on your project proposal right away,
but I would suggest talking to the mentors to make sure you've understood
them correctly
