Cool! Can you also implement double-buffering (for example, like it
does in commit a332f8ab59ec4bb7df8a7ef91732e191da07a985)? It's not
hard to do, but will save eyes and nerves of misanthropic hackers,
when they sit in theirs dark lairs. Darn flickering mode-line is soooo
annoying...
