There is a git branch for the 0.8 series : 
http://git.gnome.org/browse/tracker/log/?h=tracker-0.8 but as it is a stable 
version I think you can download a tarball from 
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/tracker/0.8/
