Details:

Screen 4.4.0 does not build on AIX without the 2 following patches.

- socket-accept patch deals with #include missing and int/socklen_t for
accept() routine.

- Makefile.in-GIT_DEV patch fixes an issue with git command, not configured on
all environments

The bug #49148 also helps making screen quite perfect on AIX 6.1
