[Savannah-users] https for git and other things

Hi all

I used to help with savannah a bit years ago.

Someone asked me a few days ago if savannah had a way of delivering git
(or cvs) over secure transports.

I presume it does not?


I'd like to help with savannah. Github is a great big juggernaut that I
fear will one day close the development world up. We can keep them
honest by making savannah work.

I don't have huge amounts of time but I am very experienced. Is there an
intro to helping with savannah?

Is this something that people would consider? accepting small amounts of
help? Or is it hard to help?
