I also looked into the matrix, if I'm not mistaken, https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#AllCompatibility "GPLv2 or later" license can copy and use a library under GPLv2 only. And I think GPLv2+ is compatible with GPLv3 and future versions. In addition, EROFS .ko can be individually executable as a package.
