Follow-up Comment #1:

Hello John,

Thank you for submitting a new project to host on GNU Savannah.

To beter comply with the GNU Savannah hosting requirements,
I'd ask you address the following:

1.
Add license and copyright information to the "configure.ac" file.
Either GPL, or the GNU All Permissive license (
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/License-Notices-for-Other-Files.html
)
would be fine.

2.
Many files refer to your other project ('classnet').
It would be better to update them: both the project name, and the copyright
year (from 2009 to 2014):
   README
   README.kernel
   AUTHORS
src/desknet ( the printed string when doing "-version" )

3. OPTIONAL
The license statement in many of the files is valid, but is formatted in a
non-standard way.
Putting the standard boiler-plate text (as it appears in 'src/dnet.c') would
be helpful for future users.

4. Regarding the Vera-Bit-stream font license:
>From cursory reading it appears the license is very similar to this font
license:
   http://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#IPAFONT
I would have to consult with others regarding this license.
Will have answer soon.

5. OPTIONAL
The tar file you've provided contains many auto-generated files (e.g.
'Configure', 'Makefile' and 'Makefile.in'),
as well as the compiled binary 'src/dnet' - there is generally no need to put
them in the source code repository of the project.

Regards,
 - Assaf
