Follow-up Comment #3, task #13295 (project administration):

Hello Dany,

Thank you for providing the source code repository.

As there are many files of different type in the repository, the evaluation
takes a bit of time.

I see most of the code is already GPLv2+, and there are only few minor items
that would need to changed in order to comply with
the GNU Savannah hosting requirements,
   https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php
   http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/HowToGetYourProjectApprovedQuickly/

I'm experimenting with an automated evaluation system, which tries to detect
copyright and license information.
It is in development stages, and produces some false-positives, but can
provide a good initial overview of a project.

You can examine the evaluation of Noalyss-plugins here:

http://files.housegordon.org/gnu_eval2/noalyss-plugins.2014-08-21-201045.html

Some of the listed items are recommendations (not strict requirements);
However, I would ask you to at least update the following:

-1-
The files listed under "Files without Copyright and License statements"
section:
Many of them are php/sql files which indeed lack any copyright or license
information.
Please add a copyright and license statement in these files.

-2-
Files listed under "Files without Copyright statement" section:
Many of these files do not contain a copyright statement, only a short
statement such as "This file is under GPL".
It is recommended to have a proper copyright statement and a proper license
statement,
though the above short statement is also acceptable for GNU Savannah.
If you choose to update it, it'll speed up the evaluation process.
If the files do not have even this short statement, please add a copyright
statement and a license statement to them.

-3-
Files listed under "Files without canonical copyright statement" section:
The recommended copyright form is:
    Copyright YEAR NAME
or
    Copyright (C) YEAR NAME email

Most of these files use the following form:
Copyright Author Dany De Bontridder address@hidden

This form is acceptable, but changing it to the above mentioned form is
recommended.
If you choose to update it, it'll speed up the evaluation process.

-4-
Files listed under "Files without canonical license statement" section:
Many of the files contain the following short statement:
//This file is part of NOALYSS and is under GPL
    //See license.txt

This form is acceptable, but not recommended.
If you choose to update it, it'll speed up the evaluation process.

-5-
Files listed under "Binary Data files" section:
Your project contains many non-text data files (many of them appear to be
OpenOffice documents).
Please ensure that all these documents either have a proper copyright and
license statements in them (as it is possible to add this inside OpenOffice
documents),
or mention them in a README file (listing their author and license
information).

-6-
There are other sections in the above report (such as "Problematic file names"
and "Problematic New lines") - these are *only* recommendations.

 - Assaf
