==== Description: ====
Stellar Game Engine (or SGE) is an engine for Stellar, a free program which
makes development of 2D games faster and easier. SGE can also be used by
itself as an easy-to-use game engine.
SGE is written in and for Python. It is designed to easily allow multiple
implementations, but this first version has only one implementation which uses
Pygame. An alternative implementation that uses Pyglet is planned.
==== Other Software Required: ====
Python 2.6 or later <http://python.org> - Python Software Foundation License
<http://docs.python.org/2/license.html>
Pygame 1.9.0 or later <http://pygame.org> - GNU Lesser General Public License
==== Other Comments: ====
The sub-directory "sge-pygame" includes the Pygame implementation for Python
2.x, while "sge-pygame-py3k" includes the Pygame implementation converted for
Python 3.x with 2to3. The Python 3 conversion hasn't yet been tested.
