==== Description: ====
DirsyncNG is another rsync frontend with focus on "what will happen during
the backup".
It gives the user a preview of which files will be deleted, updated and newly
created. It achieves this with 2 dry rsync runs before the real
synchronizsation begins.
Backup targets and hosts can be defined in profiles, includes and excludes
can be saved.
The program is multithreaded, so different backup processes may run
parallely.
The programming language is Python and PyQt and it needs the rsync
executables to work.
DirsyncNG works cross platform ( Linux and Windows tested ).

DirsyncNG itself will be released under the GPL, the dependencies are rsync
(GPL) , cygwin (mostly GPL) and openssh (BSD). These Windows binaries are
currently not included, as I need to check for possible licensing problems.
For PyQt and Qt a GPL version is available.

DirsyncNG is primarily developed under Archlinux.

==== Other Software Required: ====
PyQt + GPL + http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/news
Qt + GPL available + http://qt.nokia.com/products/
Python + Python License ( GPL compatible ) + http://www.python.org/
rsync + GPL + http://rsync.samba.org/

==== Other Comments: ====
This is my first project, so please be merciful if I did not get everything
right for first try :)
