This is a set of modules that provide bindings for SDL (Simple DirectMedia
Layer) to enable Guile programmers to do all the nice things you can do with
SDL.

It includes full texinfo documentation.

It was written and tested under Unofficial Guile:

http://www.gnuvola.org/software/guile/guile-1.4.1.118.tar.gz
(license GPLv3+ -- NB: NOT LGPL)

This dependency is the primary motivation for registering this project as
"non-GNU".  In the future, after some tweaks to make Guile-SDL work with GNU
Guile, i will petition to move it to "official GNU" software.

The other dependencies are libSDL, libSDL_image, libSDL_ttf, libSDL_mixer
(all LGPL).

FYI, the source code repo is currently Git.  (Perhaps knowing this, you can
init a Git (rather than CVS) repo on savannah, saving both of us a few
minutes.)
