----

==== Description: ====
J11 will be an X11 server based on www.xfree86.org but with support for Java
widgets, applets and whole application user interfaces in the X11 server. For
that purpose the XFree86 server will be used without forking the code base.
The J11 server will include a full Java VM and allow to install a pure Java
window manager in the server. Initially supported widget libraries will
probably include SWT and Swing. The project will use GCJ and Classpath.
Implementation of Java WebStart in the J11 server is an option.

==== Other Software Required: ====
GCJ, GNU Classpath
