  I am working in a software to  performs all calculation needed by the
surveyor: calculation of topographic networks, polygonals, triangulations,
direct and inverse intersections, height compensation. This program has
several calculation tools: solving of triangles, conversion of polar
coordinates to rectangular and viceversa, straight line and cirle
itersections, calculation of distances in UTM proyeccion distances or by
geografic coordinates, etc.
There are two projects:
The first to manage of points (conversions and translations) and the second
is the survey software.

I am programming in c/GTK+ using glade, Dev c++, Anjuta
I am a student of UPM University in Madrid
The name of the projects:
Gnu Survey Station (GSS)
Gnu Points Manager (GPM)
