Description:
------------
Dino is a MIDI sequencer for GNU/Linux. It consists of a shared library
that contains data structures, utility functions, and the actual sequencer,
and a GUI program which links to the library and provides a graphical
interface for editing the data structures and controlling the sequencer. It
uses the JACK audio server (http://jackaudio.org) to provide sample-accurate
synchronisation between MIDI and audio and to synchronise with other
sequencers and transport-aware software such as drum machines or live
loopers. It also supports (and requires) the LASH audio session handler
(http://lash.nongnu.org) to let the user save entire sessions consisting of
several audio and MIDI programs to a single file.
One version of Dino has been released and is available here:
http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/dinoseq/dino-0.2.0.tar.gz
Other Software Required:
------------------------
The JACK audio connection kit (http://jackaudio.org)
The LASH audio session handler (http://lash.nongnu.org)
libglademm (http://gtkmm.org) and all its dependencies such as gtkmm, glibmm,
libsigc++
libxml++ (http://libxmlplusplus.sourceforge.net)
All these packages are available under the GPL or LGPL licenses.
