Follow-up Comment #2, task #5484 (project administration):

Moin Sebastian

Thank you very much for your mail and the help you are offering for licence
checking.

1) Code Licence
All tools or libs we are using for our project are from GNU or savannah. I
think it is
not necessary to look for each lincence for this projects because they are
allready
controlled by you or your colleagues.

GNU binutils http://www.gnu.org/software/binutils/
GNU gcc http://gcc.gnu.org
AVR C-Libraries http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/avr-libc/
UISP http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/uisp/
AVR-DUDE http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/avrdude

Or inspiration are from
WHEREAVR http://www.knology.net/~gdion/whereavr.html
and
OPENTRACKER http://n1vg.net/opentracker/

The opentracker itself is extreme rudimentary. The Whereavr is more advanced
but
far from our requirements. As we wrote we want to add more features to it
than the
whereavr had.
So what we are using are AX.25 libraries or PSK31
(http://ax25.sourceforge.net/ and
www.kernel.org) and not the sourcecode from whereavr or opentracker (this
project
is not based on Atmel and therefore not useable for us). The Whereavr and
opentracker are only inspirations.

2)Hardware
The Hardware is of course free as in speech. (If someone whants he can offer
a beer,
but thats not necessary. :-) ) The hardware layout is also developed by us.

3)Source Code
/dev/zero
Sorry at the moment we do not have source code available. Only small
test programms for the ATMEL (call it Hello World). The project development
is
decentral therefore we need your service to organize the project and let us
develop
the source code via CVS.

Thanks for all you are doing and have a nice day.
Ansi & Angel
