Follow-up Comment #2:

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

Your project is not part of the GNU project, so we cannot accept its current
type. We want to maintain the distinction between 'GNU' and'non-GNU'
projects. If your project is approved for inclusion into Savannah, we will
set it's type to 'non-GNU'.

If your project is accepted into the GNU project you may change its type.
You can do this by asking us.

Also, you mention in your comments that you have "Free software foundation
copyright". Have you signed papers transferring copyright to the FSF? Only
then would the code be copyright FSF. Please provide us with more information
about this.

Additionally, I tried to download your current tarball, but it was corrupt.
GNU gzip says this when I try to gunzip it:

gunzip: gregblog_april12_2006.tar.gz has more than one entry -- unchanged

Please provide a non-broken tarball of your current code. We wish to review
your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal
issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the GNU GPL you must
include a copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning
of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than 10 lines long. This
is explained in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would
help catch potential omissions such as these.

Note that sending code to our repositories _is_ a release, since the code
will then be publicly available through anonymous access.

Finally, the "System Group Name" that you filled in during registration
should be a unique name for your project to have on the system, such as
"gregblog", rather than the type of system it runs on. If you would pick a
different system name that would be great.

Regards.
