######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########
Full Name:
----------
Space Tools
System Group Name:
-----------------
stools
Type:
-----
non-GNU software & documentation
License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later
Description:
------------
STOOLS (Space Tools) will be a collection of useful software tools for
space related activities. It is not a project for space fans, but for
professionals of the space sector (like me). The project includes a graphical
environment that integrates all the tools.
The tools will include, among others:
- An SP3 (orbital data file format) graphical editor.
- Interface with GNU Octave (that will promote the use of
Octave instead of Matlab, i hope).
- An orbital mechanics library.
- An orbital propagator.
- A geodynamics library.
- A ionospheric and trophospheric simulator.
- Support for several interexchange formats used in the
European Space Agency (RINEX, SINEX, TRONEX, ...)
- Free libraries to be used on GPS and Galileo systems.
Btw, actually there isnt free software like that.
The program doesnt have a homepage yet. I uploaded the existing code to
http://es.gnu.org/~jemarch/downloads/stools/
Other Software Required:
------------------------
Tcl interpreter and libraries
Tk libraries
MkWidgets tcl metawidgets library
GNU Octave libraries
Other Comments:
---------------
There are some gif files on the snapshot i uploaded to es.gnu.org. All of
the gif files will be replaced with png ones before get uploaded into GNU
machines (i am writing quickly and i need to use the img tcl extension to use
png files). Anyway, i plan to use a different set of icons.
The source files on the snapshot do not have license notifications. Again, i
will add it before to upload it to GNU machines (the source code is not
officialy published yet. I uploaded it only for your convenience).b
