  EKS (Evolutionary Knowledge System) will be a webbased knowledge system.
The project hasn't released any sources yet. 
The power of EKS will be the evolutionary view at knowledge. A lot of
knowledge systems show you current knowledge, not the way how it became the
current knowledge. EKS will do both. 
At http://init.linpro.no/~pbrunier/objects.svg you can have a basic idea of
what the engine of the system is going to look like. In the future it is
going to be broader. Links to email, conversations, websites will be
possible.

The techniques used to accomplish all this will be the following:
Database=MySQL
Main language=PHP
Interactive GUI technique=AJAX (especially the X lib from
http://www.cross-browser.com/ which is GPL)
