Description:

  Window Maker is a window manager for the X Window System. It is highly
configurable and most of it can be changed through its own configuration
program. You can assign keyboard shortcuts to many of it's commands, which
allows users to quickly perform any window operations without moving the
hands off the keyboard. 

It has support for the NetWM window manager specification, which allows it to
be used in conjunction with GNOME and KDE applications, as well as others. 

Window Maker is written in C and has its own widget library called WINGs.
It's licensed through the GPL and can be downloaded from
http://windowmaker.org

  There are no extra-ordinary dependencies.

Other Comments:

  The project already exists for several years, but used to be hosted in a
contributor's server until now. The problem is that the contributor is
retiring his server, so we want to move the project's site to savannah.
