Hi,

I can't review the updated source code because the link is broken.

Note that we want software hosted at Savannah to run on a completely free
operating system; that is, I would like to run any part of it (besides ports)
on a free OS, without requiring any proprietary software such as MathLab.

This has to be possible now, not in the future. Likewise, we expect Java
applications to be runnable with a free Java suite such as GCJ+Classpath, and
we reject Java application that require a proprietary implementation such as
Sun's, even if they stick to the official API.

However, if your first and primary focus with this project is to make it run
with GNU Octave, then we may approve your project to ease that task.
If you agree with this commitment, please say so.
