###### ORIGINAL SUBMISSION DETAILS ######

System Group Name:
-----------------
  pie

Full Name:
----------
  PIE

Type:
-----
  non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Other License:
--------------

Description:
------------
PIE is the Python Internet Engine. It is designed to be used either as an
apache module or a stand-alone system to generate content. It bares a passing
resemblance to Cold Fusion in syntax, but has the ability to embed code php
style.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  PyGres,
Python 2.2 or greater,
mod_python,

Other Comments:
---------------
This is a resubmission of the project that I had called XIE previously. I
have come to the conclusion that I did not need the PyXML parser as python has
one built in that will do and meets the licensing requirements. Also I
figured that it will always be in Python, so PIE is more fitting, plus it's
funnier.
