URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?106968> Summary: GIT needs better site documentation Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: bkorb Submitted on: Sat 08 Aug 2009 11:17:42 AM PDT Category: Savannah website Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 1 - Wish Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: address@hidden Operating System: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: I've made several attempts to follow the GIT instructions for setting up the repository. All I get out of it is that ........ wait. It's working now. Your GIT docs need to mention that there may be a delay in establishing the repo of up to a few hours. I wouldn't have been so impatient. Thank you. You still need a "GIT Instructions" link in your side panel like the "CVS Instructions" link. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?106968> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
