Description:
KNOSCIX is a Linux live-cd distribution based on KNOPPIX 
(http://www.knopper.net/knoppix) and suitable for scientific Computing, data 
analisys and statistics. Knoscix is released in English and in Italian, and 
contains GNOME 2.4 as desktop, together with many own new features. The word 
"KNOSCIX" is the result of combining "KNOPPIX" with "Science"; there is an 
assonance with the Italian word "Conosci" (that means "Know"), too.

The distro is (and will be) of course based entirely on free software.

This is a complete system, a live-cd distro; thus, explaining dependencies is 
not applicable.
