A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Hanno Boeck <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Linux Kernel for laptops
System name: laptopkernel
Type: non-GNU
Description:
We want to create a patch for the linux-kernel containing patches useful for
laptop-users (e.g. acpi, software suspend, laptop-specific driver-updates).
The idea came from the tm800-kernel by bernd wurst:
http://www.bernd-wurst.de/linux/patch-2.4.21-rc2-tm800.diff.bz2
the tm800-kernel is specific for the acer travelmate 800.
Other Software Required:
As it\'s a kernel-patch, it only needs stuff needed to build the linux-kernel.
