Miniconda is based on the Red Hat installer and needs at least 12 MB
RAM, slinky is self-made and works nicely in 8 MB RAM, even below. See

Yes. Miniconda like the Red Hat installer, slinky is more tricky. See

Miniconda requires the same as Red Hat (anaconda). For slinky it
suffices to have the RPMs you want to install in the remote directory.
You might need to adjust the installer somewhat. Again the list archive
might give more information.
