Hello Jan-Peter, I will answer here to your two mails, 

We are currently working on the contacts integration with external sources such 
as gnome-contact.
For the moment all contacts in Ring are internal, but the roadmap is in 
definition for
the next release. Please send us your enhancement propositions on this mailing 
list and more importantly
here https://tuleap.ring.cx/plugins/tracker/?tracker=17 (necessitates 
registration).

Could you please explain more in detail your problem with your contacts on 
Linux? is it that your contacts
are disappearing from the contact tab on the main view in Ring on restart? 

There is no contact sync for the moment, but again the roadmap will be fixed 
next week.

Hello
I have Problems with my Contacts on Linux and Android.
On Linux is it intended that I can´t add a Contact to my Contacts but if I kill 
Ring and start it again the Contact is added to my Contacts?
On Android Is it possible to display the Full Names such as they appear in the 
System Contacts?

The best it would be I could right Click on the Contact and add him to my 
Contacts.
And in My Contacts Right Click on the Contact and Edit Data.
