Details:
When one group member has already built the project, and another configures
their clone of the project to use the same build directory, it may happy that
many "operation not permitted" warnings from `chmod' are given in the end.
This is because currently, the configure script only does the installation,
but the step where the write-access permission is given to all group members
is done by the `for-group' script.
Therefore, if there is any problem during the permission setting for one user
(for any reason), the other users are going to confront this problem.
One solution may be to bring the `chmod' call within the configure script. So
if there is a problem, the `configure' script doesn't build the Makefile and
so the user sees this problem and is able to fix it before the Makefile link
is created.
