[rdiff-backup-users] Compressed mirror

Hi folks,

I've been using rdiff-backup for some time (years now) to do my
backups.

I'm getting to the point where I've got a problem with space usage.  I
know that rdiff-backup compresses deltas, but I'd really like to see
per-file compression of the current data in the mirror as well -
preferably using bzip2.

Is such a thing on the radar at all?
