Hello,

I'm attempting to build an rpm from the rdiff-backup-1.1.15.tar.gz on CentOS 4.6. Full disclosure - I'm a bit of a newbie.

I believe I have all the dependencies installed - python-dev, librsync-dev, gcc etc. Python 2.3.4 is installed. I untar the file, then run:

$python setup.py bdist_rpm

It fails on:

running install_data
error: can't copy 'rdiff-backup.1': doesn't exist or not a regular file
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.14290 (%install)

I can see the rdiff-backup.1 file in the directory when I issued the command. Other files seem to copy correctly to the temp build dir.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Ian
