[rdiff-backup-users] restoring the latest changes from all file in a specific folder

Hi :-)

i read the documentation and the faq, but i didn't find any answers for these 
two questions:

is their a way to restore all the latest files (from different dates) that 
reside in a backup folder to a new folder ?

is their a way to overwrite files in a restored folder without deleting all 
that was there in the first place. (in case of restoring several times 
backups from different dates) ?
