[rdiff-backup-users] Metadata exists but no associated files

Hi all,

I made a full system backup yesterday and tried to do an "incremental"
today.
This is the error I get (below) - I gather from the error message that
it found the file's attributes in the metadata file, but couldn't find
the file itself. Is there a common cause for this?

The command line I ran was:
rdiff-backup --windows-mode -v9 --exclude /home --exclude /var/lib/cvs
--exclude /var/log --exclude /mnt/backups --exclude /mnt/backups_mp
--exclude /proc --exclude /dev / /mnt/backups_mp/system
