Thanks!  It compiles.

So, I gave it a shot, with Windows XP as the guest OS.  And <crash>!
My whole system went down.

Host: Linux 2.6.14, qemu 0.8.0, Pentium 4.

Guess I'll be sticking with qemu+kqemu for now.  :(
