[Qemu-stable] [PATCH 0/2] qht fixes for 2.7 stable

I'm sending these two patches to be applied to 2.7 stable.
Patch 1 isn't strictly fixing a bug, but patch 2 would conflict without it.

Patch 1 fixes a warning that gcc may unnecessarily emit.
Patch 2 fixes a real bug that sometimes shows up as a segfault in test-qht.

Both patches have been queued to be merged onto master. The only difference
between the patches here and those in the above message are the addition
of Dave's tested-by tag to patch 2.
