[Qemu-ppc] Using sd0

QEMU supplies the sd0 device to qemu-system-ppc. Has anyone been able to figure
out how to use it. I can set it to open an image file, but the host operating
system never sees this device. I have tried Mac OS 10.2 and Windows XP (in
qemu-system-i386). Is there a way to make this device work in these operating
systems?
