If you wanted to propose a custom project idea for Google Summer of Code
I'm afraid the application deadline has passed.

Custom project ideas require finding a mentor.  It usually takes at
least 2 weeks and also requires discussing the details of the project
idea.

You are welcome to contribute to QEMU outside of GSoC.  Guidelines on
submitting a patch are here:
