You can configure any ARM machine to use firmware blob instead of kernel + device tree. This way it looks more like a real machine.

 
I don't have any "blob" I can only run virt.

 We ran it on virt, for example.


And how did you accessed the register and for what purpose?
What should be the expected outcome.
