I am not sure what you are trying to do.

Are you attaching a USB serial device to the host and you would like
to connect that to the VM's serial port?  In that case you can try
this domain XML:

<serial type="dev">
    <source path="/dev/ttyACM0" />
    <target port="0" />
</serial>
