Should it be a bitmask or just a button count? Buttons really have no standard meaning so usually a button count is sufficient.3/4 are the mouse wheel, so if you had a mouse with 5 buttons and no wheel those would be buttons 0/1/2/5/6.
It can still be reported as a 7 button mouse but I don't really mind either way.
