30" TFTs have resolution 2560x1600.
Speaking of large resolutions, I just tried 2360x1770 (the largest
offered by VMWare VGA driver in Win2003 x64), and in my case, the left
side of the screen is clipped, while the right side is mostly fine
(only the mouse pointer is leaving trails behind):
