-win2k-hack worked for me now! :-D install is overall 3 hours on an  
Intel Core Duo 2.0Ghz machine 512mb Ram for Vista.

One OS more on the Qemu supported list! Thanks to all you guys,  
especially those who introduced ACPI to qemu in the last weeks!
