Use the virtual network. The usual solution in emualtors to transferring data between Windows Guest and Linux is to use Windows File Sharing (SMB). Share out a drive from your 98 machine and mount it on Linux using Samba. Also you can use simpler things like HTTP. FTP. -- John.
