Right! Especially if you are going to install entire distribution.

That's also possible w/o doing Java-based installation. Simply install
entire distribution from CD1 and then look into /var/sadm/install (or
logs)/ install_log -- at the end of this file you will see name of
packages installed. The names are both from CD1 and CD2 so comparing the
list with pkginfo will give you a list of packages to be installed from
CD2. Just my workaround for Solaris9 installation.

Anyway, yes, Qemu's IDE seems to be quite slow in Solaris.
